Bio:
I am an Elder Care Manager who specializes in helping older adults age in place.  My area  of concentration is Alzheimer's disease and dementia care. I also provide services that assist businesses and professionals in the legal, health, and financial arenas.

I assist older people by establishing a personal, honest and trusting relationship which honor's their wishes for autonomy. I come into their home where we work together on solving problems in order to strengthen and support their desire to remain independent. Often it involves advocating with doctors and the health care system. Sometimes this involves bringing in outside help such as hiring caregivers or even moving to assisted living. 

I am an active member of the San Diego Alzheimer's Association and facilitate support groups for caregiver's and the early diagnosed individuals. I am available to speak before your group on a variety of aging related topics.

My clients pay privately for my services, much like they do for their attorney. I bill per hour for my time including travel. Some insurance companies may pay for elder care assessment. In addition more and more EAP's (employees assistance programs) are covering care management as a benefit.
